Mental Health

It seems that at some point become after World War II, mental health, something like a luxury. The lack of a true mental illness such as schizophrenia or dementia is certainly no indication of the overall health of the mind. The pressure of the rat race is overwhelming. The number of situations and triggers of mental disorders is significantly increased. Stress is very high.

So we are reduced to an acceptable definition of mental health in very general terms. Appropriate mental health is being defined by the absence of gross disturbances.

Disease, suggesting a strong perturbation of the day’s mental health, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or major depressive disorder. Other mental disorders, which may or may not be a simple lack of development authorities, can be considered an addiction compulsive disorders, alcohol or drugs, or stress-induced nervous breakdown.

Mental health in the 21st century, represents a reasonable quality of life and function in individuals, in spite of the overwhelming power against them.
