‘One Tree Hill’ star Sophia Bush says her education is what helped her get where she is today, and she believes that behind every famous person is a fabulous teacher. She is currently using the spotlight usually placed on her in order to bring attention to the importance of teachers and education by becoming a 2009 spokesperson for the award-winning Teachers Count Campaign.

The Time Inc., supported campaign is known for pairing famous figures with their favorite teachers. Past participants have included former first lady Laura Bush, actress America Ferrera, and the Today Show’s’ Al Roker.

If you like Sophia’s work in her films and on ‘One Tree Hill’, you may want to thank her high school English teacher, who Sophia says taught her valuable lessons that help her to succeed as an actress. “He taught me to read between the lines, to see the hidden messages, and to live the stories on the pages.”, said Sophia, who graduated from the Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena, Calif. “The way he taught me to break down a novel is the way I break down scripts today”.

Here is a new interview that Sophia did in May of this year with her friend Billy Dec for the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid. She is adorable in it so be sre to watch it.

Sophia has been a friend for a while and if I had to say what is special about her, it’s that she has an intense passion for doing what’s right… that’s why I was so happy to see how supportive she was toward working to win the 2016 Olympics in the united states of America… she even squeezed this interview in on the way to getting her tonsils out! enjoy!

Hey guys! If you havent noticed already, the site has a brand new layout. It took me all day yesterday to get everything right so I hope you like it. Good news, One Tree Hill fans! The CW has picked up extra episodes of the show’s seventh season, according to Entertainment Weekly, bringing the total number of show installments to 22.

The network also ordered six new scripts for freshman revamp series Melrose Place, and nine for brand new supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries. Looks like the fang fad lives on!

We are so relieved to hear that Tree Hill is getting a full season — it’s going to take at least 20 more episodes to explain just WHAT Dan and Rachel are doing together!
